Respecting the rich landscape of one of the most beautiful mountain terrains in the world, BraytonHughes used design elements that compliment Montana’s unique charm. The project encompasses three new buildings, four F&B outlets, a spa and fitness center, retail and a sales center. Residences are located above the amenity spaces.

This luxurious residence (condominium) is vast in size and amenities and is located in Big Sky, Montana. The clean detailing, Montana inspired finishes, comfortable furnishings, and robust art collection create the perfect atmosphere for après-ski relaxing, dining, and entertaining. This 6,000SF+ residence has a large living and dining space, 6 bedrooms, 6.5 baths, a media room, and a billiards room that all have views to the surrounding mountain ranges.

Napa, California

Leveraging their expertise in design sensitive to historical context, BraytonHughes drew from contemporary trends around experiential hospitality to reimagine the historic building. AVOW features delicately layered interiors, an interplay of open and more intimate spaces, delivering a dynamic experience across three levels.

Atherton, California

Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, this storied equestrian and social club’s renovation of the food and beverage venues takes aesthetic cues from details seen in the equestrian world on saddles, bridles, and spurs. Nods to these design elements are evident in the new design’s furniture, lighting, and millwork.

The Grand Hyatt at SFO is a 351-room, 4-diamond hotel at the San Francisco airport. BraytonHughes created a design that optimizes the airport location while conveying a sense of calm, contemporary luxury with a touch of the rustic outdoor vibe that typifies Northern California.

Tunis, Tunisia

This Mediterranean resort has been designed in a manner sensitive to the surrounding terrain. The architecture utilizes details reminiscent of nearby hillside towns, creating spaces that feel cool and open. The furnishings are contemporary with details reflecting the sophisticated yet casual vernacular of the surrounding coastal region.

One goal of this renovation of this office located in the Presidio National Park was to open up the dark interior spaces to the exterior light and Golden Gate views. Creating this transparency by installing glass paneled walls also spoke directly to this financial firm’s approach to their business worldview.

What started as a top floor, two unconnected units, became a renovated single residence connected by a gallery of photographic masterpieces from the owner’s collection. Clearly influenced by the work of 30’s style modernism, the décor, periodic furnishings, and exotic finishes come together in a uniquely urban and sophisticated ensemble.

Although the building is situated in the heart of Silicon Valley, our design is pointedly different from the typical start-up, with finishes, furnishings, and décor that are more timeless rather than bold. Moreover, the design reflects the client’s commitment to sustainability with features that emphasize well-being and promote healthful productivity.

Baltimore, Maryland

Canopy Hotel Baltimore consists of five floors, 314,950 square feet and 156 keys. Copper, teak, rope and steel are expressions of the locations rich history. Materials are not used as historical references but cues for discovery, leading the viewer and guest to wonder into the past, and wander into the future.

With InterContinental’s place in the vibrant SOMA district – a hub of art, technology and commerce – the concept of intellectual gold mine emerged as inspiration for the design. The new design also references the sophisticated fashion of the stylish people who visit the hotel. BHDS refreshed the meeting spaces, 550+ guestrooms and suites.
