Summer plans to travel abroad may be dampened by COVID concerns, but BraytonHughes Design Studios weaves natural beauty and delightful travel experiences into its design, so users can travel through their senses and connect with the world beyond their immediate surroundings.
A world traveler from an early age, BraytonHughes Design Studios Principal Kiko Singh draws inspiration from the things she saw, touched, and smelled during her trips. When The Studio by Tiger Leather approached her to collaborate on a new rug collection, Kiko used Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts as her muse, as she had just returned from the destination. With scenes fresh in her mind, Kiko channeled the Great Rock Bright, Menemsha Sunsets, South Beach and Lucy Vincent Sand Dunes in the color combinations, textures, and design, so that each rug represents a different beach on the island.
Though the future of travel is uncertain, BraytonHughes celebrates how through art and interior design, we can relive experiences and celebrate the resiliency of nature and cherished locales.
Wishing you all an inspiring summer
